(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 7, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the construction progress of the Chau Thon - Tan Xuan road. Accompanying him were representatives of a number of provincial departments, agencies, and sectors, as well as Tan Ky and Quy Hop districts.

The Chau Thon - Tan Xuan road construction investment project has a total length of 77.5km. Of which, the first phase of 44.5km, started in 2008, passing through Que Phong, Quy Chau and Quy Hop districts, has been completed and put into use. The second phase, with a length of 33km, connecting Tan Ky and Quy Hop districts, is under construction. The total investment capital for the entire route in both phases is nearly 740 billion, implemented from government bond capital.

According to the progress, up to now, 31km of phase 2 has completed the foundation, of which more than 26/33km have been paved. However, there are still 2.4km of the route that have not completed site clearance, of which 1.4km passes through the center of Quy Hop town and 1km passes through Nghia Dong commune of Tan Ky district, so the construction units are facing difficulties in speeding up the progress.
Through the actual inspection, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this is an important route connecting the localities of Tan Ky and Quy Hop districts, contributing to the socio-economic development of the localities. Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Compensation Council of Quy Hop and Tan Ky districts to focus on completing compensation records to pay for households in the area of land clearance, and must complete and hand over to the construction units by May 2015 at the latest. The construction units need to speed up the progress to complete the project soon. After handing over the route, the localities need to strictly manage the situation of oversized and overloaded vehicles; manage the traffic safety corridor, and promote the highest efficiency of this route.
