(Baonghean.vn) - On May 6, the Government held an online conference to implement Decree No. 118/2014/ND-CP dated December 17, 2014 on arrangement, innovation and development to improve the operational efficiency of agricultural and forestry companies. According to the Central Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development, the progress of reorganizing and innovating agricultural and forestry companies nationwide is too slow. Up to now, only a few localities have submitted and approved the renovation plan. The reason why localities are slow in the process of reorganizing and innovating is mainly because the guiding documents have not been issued in time, and there are many problems with land, labor, assets, charter capital, etc.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the process of organizing, reorganizing and innovating agricultural and forestry companies in the province: After the issuance of Resolution 30 of the Politburo, Decree 118/CP and Circular 02 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Nghe An province has organized to disseminate the contents of the Decree to the leaders of sectors, localities and agricultural and forestry companies. Currently, Nghe An has 12 agricultural and forestry companies that are urgently developing a project to reorganize and innovate enterprises and determine a specific implementation time. The Provincial People's Committee has directed relevant departments and branches to guide agricultural and forestry companies in implementation and thanks to that, 12 enterprises have basically completed the content of the project.

However, during the implementation process, there were some difficulties and problems because the enterprises did not have a record of surveying and extracting maps, had not been granted a Land Use Rights Certificate, and had difficulties in managing land use and production and business plans... The arrangement and renovation of agricultural and forestry companies required a lot of time and money to serve the work of surveying, extracting maps, planting landmarks... so the Government paid attention to timely support with appropriate funds and time to approve the plan...

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Trong Dung - Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development assessed: Up to now, the guiding documents and circulars have been basically complete and timely. Ministries, branches and localities have focused on vigorously implementing Decree 118/CP and during the implementation process, promptly discussed and proposed difficulties and problems for the Steering Committee to promptly resolve in order to complete the arrangement and innovation of agricultural and forestry companies according to plan.
