On behalf of the delegation of the 13th National Assembly, constituency number 2, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai informed the voters of Nam Giai commune about some contents of the program of the 3rd session of the 13th National Assembly. The session is expected to last for 1 month and will open on May 21, 2012. This session will assess the socio-economic development situation in 2011, pass 13 draft laws and a resolution on the Law and Ordinance Development Program in 2013; and give opinions on 7 draft laws.
Voters of Nam Giai commune expressed their thoughts and recommendations to the National Assembly.
At the meeting, voters of Nam Giai commune made recommendations to the National Assembly delegation on difficulties in socio-economic development of the locality; requested the State to pay attention to upgrading the traffic route from Chau Kim intersection to Cang village and Pieng Lang village; invest in building schools according to the school consolidation program; develop livestock and poultry according to the Government's Resolution 30a program, support suitable plant and animal varieties for economic development. The regime for village cadres is still too low, so Party Committee office cadres should be assigned to state civil servants; It is necessary to upgrade the commune health station to serve medical examination and treatment, health care for the people; support the reclamation of rice fields for people in the two newly relocated villages of Pieng Lang and Cha Lau. The State should pay more attention to education and training and job creation for local children after completing university, college, and high school; Focus on investing in building clean water systems for ethnic minorities in difficult areas...
On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Colonel Nguyen Sy Hoi acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions of voters of Nam Giai commune and responded to those within his authority. Regarding the recommendations and proposals, the delegation will summarize and send them to the upcoming 3rd session of the 13th National Assembly.
