With a 2-0 win in the first leg, Celtic only needed a draw to qualify for the third qualifying round of the Champions League. However, with home advantage, Celtic continued to take the initiative and easily "made a mess" of Linfield to repay the enthusiastic cheers of the home fans.
In the 4th minute, the score was opened for Celtic with a close-range rebound by Scott Sinclair after Dembele's shot from outside the penalty area bounced off a Linfield defender and landed right in his position.
After the goal, Celtic continued to attack, making it impossible for Linfield to push their formation forward. With a completely overwhelming position, coach Brendan Rodgers' students easily scored 3 more goals against Linfield after finishing by Tom Rogic (47'), Scott Sinclair (54') and Stuart Armstrong (90') to close the match with a 4-0 victory.
Winning 6-0 on aggregate after 2 matches, Celtic won a ticket to the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League.
Along with Celtic, there are other strong teams such as: Rosenborg (Norway), Koebenhavn (Denmark), Legia Warszawa (Poland)...
