With a 2-0 win in the first leg, Celtic only needed a draw to qualify for the third qualifying round of the Champions League. However, with home advantage, Celtic continued to actively attack and easily "made a mess" of Linfield to repay the enthusiastic cheers of the home fans.
In the 4th minute, the score was opened for Celtic with a close-range shot from Scott Sinclair after Dembele's shot from outside the box bounced off a Linfield defender and landed right in his path.
After the goal, Celtic continued to attack, making it impossible for Linfield to push forward. With the overwhelming advantage, Brendan Rodgers' team easily scored 3 more goals against Linfield after Tom Rogic (47'), Scott Sinclair (54') and Stuart Armstrong (90') finished the match with a 4-0 victory.
Winning 6-0 on aggregate after 2 matches, Celtic won a ticket to the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League.
Also winning tickets to the third qualifying round like Celtic are other strong teams such as: Rosenborg (Norway), Koebenhavn (Denmark), Legia Warszawa (Poland)...
