Proposal to discipline former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh
According to the Central Inspection Commission, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, during his tenure as Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, violated Party and State regulations in preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
On March 31 and April 3, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 55th session.
Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc chaired the meeting.
At this Session, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed and concluded the following contents:
Continuing to review the inspection results when there are signs of violations and the review results, proposing to discipline Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, former member of the Politburo, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, the Central Inspection Committee found that Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, during his tenure as member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and fighting corruption and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, bad public opinion, affecting the prestige of the Party and State, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.

Pursuant to Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline Mr. Truong Hoa Binh.
Reviewing the results of the inspection when there are signs of violations and the results of the review, proposing to discipline the following: Nguyen Van Hieu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Tran Viet Truong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Manh Dung, former Acting Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee; Pham Ngoc Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the Central Inspection Commission found that Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, during his tenure as Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, and Mr. Tran Viet Truong, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city, violated the Party's regulations and the State's laws in performing their assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; Violating regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the party organization and local government, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.
During his tenure as Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Manh Dung violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and the agency, work unit, to the extent that disciplinary action was required.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and local government, to the point of having to take disciplinary action.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violations; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to impose disciplinary warnings on Mr. Nguyen Manh Dung, Tran Viet Truong, and Pham Ngoc Nghi and proposed that competent authorities consider and impose disciplinary action on Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee to direct, review, and handle other related organizations and individuals.
