Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc entered the Politburo and became Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc was elected by the 13th Party Central Committee to join the 13th Politburo and elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission to replace Mr. Tran Cam Tu.

One of the important contents that the 13th Party Central Committee met to consider on the afternoon of January 23 was to elect additional members of the Politburo and complete the personnel of the Central Inspection Commission.

Specifically, the Party Central Committee voted to agree to let Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Inspection Committee, cease to hold the position of member of the Central Inspection Committee and Head of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.

At the same time, the Central Committee elected three additional members of the Central Inspection Committee, including: Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Doan Anh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province.

After that, the Central Executive Committee elected Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc to hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee to replace Mr. Tran Cam Tu.

The Central Committee also elected Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, and Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, to hold the position of member of the 13th Politburo.

Previously, at the end of October 2024, the Politburo decided to assign Mr. Tran Cam Tu to hold the position of Standing Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat.

After being reorganized, the 13th Central Inspection Commission has 23 members. Of which, the Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission is Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee.

The Standing Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission is Mr. Tran Van Ron, member of the Party Central Committee.

The other 8 Vice Chairmen of the Central Inspection Commission include Mr. and Mrs. Tran Tien Hung (Member of the Party Central Committee); Hoang Van Tra; Nghiem Phu Cuong; Nguyen Minh Quang; Tran Thi Hien, Hoang Trong Hung, Nguyen Van Quyet, and Vu Hong Van.

The Central Inspection Commission is a specialized inspection and supervision agency of the Central Executive Committee, performing tasks and powers as prescribed by the Party Charter; advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat in directing, guiding, and organizing the implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision, and disciplinary tasks.

In particular, the Central Inspection Commission performs the tasks prescribed by the Party Charter on inspection, supervision and discipline of the Party; performs the inspection and supervision tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat.

This agency is also responsible for promptly inspecting and handling party organizations and party members when there are signs of violations in cases and cases under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption; inspecting and supervising the declaration and disclosure of assets and income of officials under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

The Central Inspection Commission may propose to the Politburo, the Secretariat or request competent organizations and individuals to enforce discipline, change the form of Party, government, and union discipline against Party members.

Every year, at the end of the term or when requested, this agency will report to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat on the Party's inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work, on the activities of the Central Inspection Commission and inspection committees at all levels.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc was born in 1964; hometown is Luong Bang town, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province; professional qualification is Master of Law.

Mr. Ngoc has a long career in the police force, holding the following positions: Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police; Deputy Director of the General Department of Police; Director of the Department of Investigation Police for Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling.

He was appointed Deputy Minister of Public Security on August 15, 2019 and held this position for nearly 5 years and was promoted to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General from December 2023.

In early June 2024, Mr. Ngoc was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Office.

In mid-August 2024, the 13th Party Central Committee elected Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc as a member of the Secretariat.
