A flight from Vinh to Ho Chi Minh City landed at Tan Son Nhat when a passenger suddenly "played" with the emergency exit door, causing the slide to pop open.

Vietnam Airlines flight VN 1265 from Vinh to Ho Chi Minh City landed at Tan Son Nhat airport at 6:20 p.m. on August 25. Passenger Luu Ngoc Vinh, sitting in seat 28E, suddenly opened the emergency exit, causing the slide to fully deploy.
According to a source from the airline, in his report, passenger Vinh explained that while everyone was exiting the plane, he heard an elderly person asking for another door to be opened. He did so, not realizing that it was an emergency exit.

Vietnam Airlines believes that this is a repeated incident, so it proposes to fine passenger Luu Ngoc Vinh the highest level of 20 million VND.
Previously, on July 19, a passenger flying from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City also opened the emergency exit to get some fresh air. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam decided to fine this passenger 10 million VND.

According to airlines, when a plane deploys its slide, the cost of going to another country to roll up the slide and close the emergency exit is up to 10,000 USD, not to mention the damage caused by having to use another plane to continue operating the flight route./.
