Proposal to award the Excellent Emulation Flag to Nghe An Border Guard

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 9, in Ninh Binh province, Emulation Group No. 2 - Border Guard Command organized a summary of the 2013 Emulation Movement for Victory.

Major General Nguyen Canh Hien - Deputy Commander of the Border Guard chaired the conference. Attending were leaders of the Border Guard of the provinces under Emulation Group No. 2: Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An and Hai Phong City.

Conference Overview

In 2013, the emulation and reward work and the "Determination to Win" emulation movement of the Border Guard Emulation Group No. 2 were actively, comprehensively and effectively implemented; creating motivation to change all aspects of work, especially in implementing key political tasks. Notably, the organization and implementation of the emulation movement were innovated; the emulation movement was combined with the continued promotion of "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh and his teachings to the Border Guard" and the campaign: "Promoting tradition, maintaining discipline, living with love, and upholding responsibility" which achieved a number of emulation goals and targets, especially in performing the tasks of protecting border security and sovereignty, training, combat readiness, search and rescue, and participating in socio-economic development in border areas and the "Emulation movement of the Border Guard joining hands to build new rural areas".

The work of building VMTD units has had positive changes. The provinces have focused on building and replicating many advanced models and promptly rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements..., encouraging and motivating cadres and soldiers in the Cluster to overcome difficulties and strive to successfully complete all tasks.

The conference also agreed to propose the Border Guard Command to consider awarding the 2013 excellent emulation flag to Nghe An Border Guard.
