Proposing UNESCO to recognize Bai Choi as a World Cultural Heritage

On September 12, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: Bài chòi is a fairly popular art form in the South Central provinces and is still preserved today, but is fading in modern life. Therefore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directed the provinces of Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, etc. to urgently preserve and promote the value of this art and conduct a scientific inventory to complete the dossier on Bài chòi art, and report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On that basis, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will submit a proposal to UNESCO to recognize Bài Chòi as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity as soon as possible.
