Dear Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet - former member of the Politburo, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam!
Dear Comrade Tong Thi Phong - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam!
Dear compatriots, comrades and delegates!

Today, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the Project to restore and embellish the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, within the overall Project to plan, preserve and embellish the Kim Lien historical and cultural relic, one of the four especially important relics of President Ho Chi Minh.

In this solemn moment, we respectfully remember and are infinitely grateful to Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - the Mother of Sen Village who gave birth to the beloved Uncle Ho of the Vietnamese people.

Dear leaders!
Dear compatriots, comrades and delegates!

Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan was born in 1868 and passed away on December 22, Canh Ty year (1900). Her life is a beautiful example, a model for the noble qualities of Vietnamese women: hard-working, responsible, gentle, kind, full of love and great sacrifice. The Vietnamese people will forever be grateful to her, not only because she was the mother of President Ho Chi Minh, but also because she was a typical woman of the Vietnamese people.

When she passed away, she was buried by her villagers at the foot of Tam Tang Mountain, in the Ngu Binh Range, Hue. In 1922, her eldest daughter, Nguyen Thi Thanh, brought her mother's remains to her garden in Lang Sen Village. In 1942, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khiem secretly buried her remains in Dong Tranh Mountain, in the Dai Hue Range. Since 1946, when the country became independent, especially after the Great Victory in the spring of 1975, the country was unified, this place has become an important and sacred cultural and historical relic, attracting the affection and attention of compatriots across the country and international friends.

In response to the wishes of compatriots and soldiers nationwide and also to express gratitude and respect to President Ho Chi Minh's mother, in 1983, the Standing Committee of Nghe - Tinh Provincial Party Committee issued a Resolution on the construction of the Mausoleum of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. On May 9, 1984, the project began construction and on May 16, 1985, the construction of the Mausoleum was completed. Coming to this relic, people understand and feel more deeply about the life of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. Over time, her life has become a legend, with extremely profound significance in the spiritual life of all classes of people. In the minds of the Vietnamese people, she is respectfully honored as the "National Mother".

In order to better serve the increasing demand for visits from the people and international friends, to meet the requirements and aspirations of the people of the whole country; with the attention and support of the Central Government, the Party Committee and the people of Nghe An decided to implement the Project to Preserve and Restore the Tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, within the overall project to Preserve and Restore the Kim Lien Historical - Cultural Relic Site. After a period of careful preparation, especially the selection of the design, on July 21, 2010, the project started construction and has now been completed after nearly a year of urgent construction. During this time, the tomb of Mrs. Ha Thi Hy - Uncle Ho's grandmother was also simultaneously renovated and restored and has been completed.

The tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan is an architectural work designed by the creative talents of many architects across the country. In terms of terrain, the tomb leans against the Dai Hue mountain range, overlooking the Hong mountain - Lam river, where the spiritual energy of the entire Nghe region converges; it also looks to the South, where the tomb of Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac is resting in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province. In terms of architecture, the tomb has a graceful and intimate style. The tomb roof has a stylized loom shape with 6 soft silk strips, reminiscent of the hard life of farming to support her husband and children during her lifetime. Behind the tomb is a white stone relief depicting the elegant and pure lotus petals of her hometown and also a symbol of her life and personality. The work is not massive but humble, quiet, in harmony with the landscape of Dong Tranh, Dai Hue mountain range and the whole Hong Lam mountains and rivers, just like her life - the life of the Mother of Sen Village, simple but great, close but noble. He crystallized the most beautiful and quintessential things of his homeland and country to give birth to President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Vietnamese people.

Dear leaders!
Dear compatriots, comrades and delegates!

Amidst the vast Dai Hue mountains, the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan is a place where the spiritual energy of Lam Hong land and sky converges, carving into space and time a simple yet sacred beauty. The Kim Lien relic site in general and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan in particular, along with the system of other relics about Uncle Ho, are relics of special historical and cultural value. That is the cultural heritage of Ho Chi Minh, the invaluable asset of the Party and our nation. Those cultural values have, are and will forever become the sentiment, intelligence, encouragement, and motivation of our entire Party, people, and army to unite and compete to build a rich, beautiful, and civilized country. The image of the Mother of Sen Village, associated with the family and life of President Ho Chi Minh, will forever exist, eternally with the homeland of Nghe An and the heroic Vietnamese people.

With that spirit, I call on cadres, soldiers, and people of all ethnic groups in the province to unite and compete to promote the implementation of the Campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", striving to build Nghe An into a fairly good and exemplary province as desired by beloved Uncle Ho. Continue to do a good job of preserving and effectively promoting the value of the relic site of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan and the system of relics of President Ho Chi Minh in his homeland, to open our arms to welcome compatriots across the country and international friends to the land of Hoan Chau, a sacred land with outstanding people.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of the province, I would like to sincerely thank the leaders of the Party, State, central agencies, localities, compatriots nationwide and overseas Vietnamese for their attention, encouragement and support to the Party Committee and people of the province to overcome many difficulties and challenges, achieve many important achievements in the cause of socio-economic development, and believe that we will receive more attention and support in the coming time.

I warmly commend the efforts, enthusiasm and responsibility of the cadres and workers of the construction units, especially the cadres and workers of Hoang Lien Stone Company, the Party Committee and people of Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District, the people and soldiers of the province, who directly contributed to the completion of the project: Preserving and embellishing the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan on schedule, ensuring quality, practically commemorating the 121st anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country.

Wishing all leaders, compatriots, comrades, and delegates good health and happiness!
Thank you very much!
