(Baonghean) -The Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum (XVNT) is a museum that exhibits a special theme about a typical historical event of the nation when our Party was first established, which is the Nghe - Tinh Soviet movement 1930 - 1931. This is also one of the three museums that were established earliest in the Vietnamese museum system. That shows the special position and role of the XVNT Museum in the cause of building and developing culture in general and the cause of preserving and promoting cultural heritage in particular, at the same time contributing to creating a highlight in the development of tourism economy of Nghe An.

For more than half a century of operation, implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, the staff of the XVNT Museum have strived and grown in all aspects, building the Museum into an outstanding cultural institution in the conservation and promotion of Nghe An's cultural heritage. Museum staff have left their footprints on all roads of the country and abroad, collecting nearly 15,000 artifacts and documents, of which 1/3 are original documents and artifacts. To date, the XVNT Museum has compiled a ranking dossier and has 47 XVNT relics recognized as national historical and cultural relics, including 39 relics in Nghe An, 8 relics in Ha Tinh and a number of other provincial relics. Many relics have been restored, embellished, protected and promoted very well.

XVNT Museum has been renovated and added to the exhibition hall 7 times, serving more than 8 million domestic and international visitors to visit and research, including many heads of state and leaders at all levels. At the same time, it has organized many seminars, scientific discussions, competitions to learn about XVNT, published many research works, scientific documents and many articles posted on mass media...

In addition to on-site activities, the Museum has been proactive, creative, and has overcome difficulties, organizing many mobile exhibitions, traditional talks, cultural exchanges, and contests to learn about the history of the 15th National Congress throughout the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, from the highlands to the islands, actively participating in the policy of bringing culture to the grassroots.

The Museum's facilities have been invested in and built to be spacious and well-equipped, meeting the requirements for sightseeing, research, and organizing cultural activities. The staff is standardized, with 100% of the staff having university degrees; there are PhDs in history, 3 masters in cultural studies...

As a bridge between the past and the present, between the generations of fathers and children today, the XVNT Museum has become a very familiar red address for tourists from all over the world, with the meaning of educating the tradition of "taking the lead, teaching first" of Nghe An, adding to the heroic symbol of the beloved homeland of Uncle Ho. With the achievements, the collective and individuals of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum have been awarded the Third Class Labor Medal, Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, many certificates of merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Nghe An province...

The achievements of the Museum today are thanks to the attention and regular direction of the Central Party, the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, the support of all sectors, all levels, revolutionary veterans, scientists, and the tireless efforts of generations of Museum staff.

However, we must also frankly admit that the number of visitors to the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum is not as high as expected. This requires each of us to reflect and find solutions to bring the Museum to more and more people.

The XVNT Museum needs to find the best forms of operation to constantly strengthen its special educational role and function on the ideological and cultural front, contributing to affirming Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's guidelines, actively contributing to the cause of innovation initiated and led by our Party. The XVNT Museum needs to immediately conduct research and advise the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on adjusting and upgrading the permanent exhibition system, applying scientific achievements, technology, and modern exhibition techniques to enhance the persuasiveness, liveliness, and attractiveness of the museum. Strengthening grassroots research, coordinating with art units, the Provincial Cultural Center and the Cultural and Sports Centers of districts to regularly organize cultural activities, innovate mobile exhibition forms, cultural exchanges, and traditional storytelling associated with each locality, unit, school, etc. to achieve high and practical efficiency.

Actively coordinate with the Education and Training sector to implement the plan to bring Nghe Tinh Soviets into schools in Nghe An and continue to work to implement the plan to bring Nghe Tinh Soviets into schools in Ha Tinh. Actively coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, agencies, units, and schools to bring people to the Museum and bring the Museum to everyone. It is necessary to pay attention to research to organize appropriate types of services, closely coordinate with the Tourism sector to make the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum a regular destination for tourists inside and outside the province. Through healthy forms of cultural activities, entertainment, and recreation, create attractiveness to attract people to the Museum. It is necessary to pay more attention to the training and fostering of cadres and civil servants, building strong and clean Party cells, agencies, and trade unions, as a solid foundation for the development of career activities.

Promoting the tradition of more than half a century of construction and development, promoting the honor of being the only museum in the country to have Uncle Ho sign the Preface, so that the XVNT flame always burns in the soul of every Nghe An citizen, spreading strongly to compatriots across the country and international friends, each staff member of the XVNT Museum needs to strive to further improve their capacity, intelligence, qualities and new working style, creating profound changes in all activities of the Museum, bringing the activities of the Museum to a new level, worthy of the affection of beloved Uncle Ho and the spirit and mettle of the heroic Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers.
