Specialized exam is 'easy', candidates feel comfortable after completing the 10th grade entrance exam

As one of the first candidates to step out of the examination site at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, candidate Pham Ngoc Anh from Le Loi Secondary School said: I registered for the French specialized class. Although the number of candidates taking the exam was not large, before the exam we were quite worried because in addition to our school's French specialized students, there were also candidates from Hung Dung Secondary School and Le Hong Phong Secondary School who registered for the exam. However, up to this point, I am quite satisfied because this year's French exam was not too difficult and I basically completed the entire exam. I am confident that I will have many opportunities to pass.

As for candidate Nguyen Thi Minh Chau, this year she registered for the History exam. According to her, this year's History exam was quite long. Even though she finished it all, she was not very satisfied with question 3 about the Winter-Spring strategy. She did not do very well and thought she would only get about 6 points.

Regarding English, candidate Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha - Cua Nam Secondary School said: I did not complete the English test because there were some difficult questions.

In particular, I think the two reading passages are the most difficult, one about a dance and one about teenagers. These are two fairly new topics, while I still think the exam will be about the Covid-19 epidemic and I have reviewed this topic carefully. I also did not do very well on the listening part.

Regarding the Literature exam, although the exam was quite long, candidates said that the exam was not too difficult. Candidates also had the opportunity to express themselves in the Social Essay question by presenting their thoughts on “the journey to human dreams”.

Speaking about her opinion, contestant Nguyen Phan Thu Hoai - Tra Lan Secondary School (Con Cuong) said: I think no one can reach their dreams easily but must overcome many difficulties. Therefore, everyone must try to achieve their dreams.

Also with this year's exam, Thu Hoai was quite concerned about the literary essay question: I think this question is quite challenging for students and candidates may get caught up in "analysis or commentary, proof". Meanwhile, the question requires assessment and clarification.

Contestant Tran Thi To Uyen - Quang Tuyen Secondary School - Thai Hoa town is also satisfied with her work because she tried very hard. Talking about her dream, Uyen said: Everyone has a dream. For me, my current dream is to pass the entrance exam to a specialized school and I will try my best to fulfill this dream.
