(Baonghean.vn) - After 120 minutes of testing, at exactly 10 a.m. this morning, candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam completed their first exam in Literature. This year's exam was considered easy, not too difficult for the candidates.
At the exam site of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Nguyen Thuy Trang, a student of Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, was one of the first three candidates to leave. Finishing the exam 20 minutes early, Trang felt quite relieved because she had achieved her goal.

Trang said: This year's exam consists of three questions, including a social commentary question about the Covid-19 epidemic. This is not a difficult question, as we predicted because some other provinces and cities also test on this content.
Talking about the Covid-19 epidemic is quite easy because it directly affects everyone's life. We just need to apply some methods of writing an argumentative essay that teachers have carefully reviewed to be able to complete our test. I also find the other questions relatively easy, if you study hard and have a solid grasp of the knowledge, you will not have much difficulty doing the test.

Student Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang, also a student at Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, said: This year's exam has unexpected elements, especially in the reading comprehension question, and she believes that this is the question to classify students.

In the reading comprehension section, the test quoted a passage from the work "The Flickering Reeds" by writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu, a good passage to remind students of good values and beautiful moments in life. Through that, it evokes thoughts about daring to live fully, burning oneself out and even daring to sacrifice to create beautiful and meaningful moments and things in life.
In the social discussion section, the question asking students to write about the Covid pandemic is not too difficult. This will also be a topic that will be reviewed a lot this school year. Teacher Tran Thi Hong Hanh also said that this question is not too difficult to get a general score. According to them,The Literature exam is quite basic, in which the social argumentation question about the Covid-19 pandemic is close and familiar to students, so it will not cause difficulties for candidates.

Nguyen Phuong Thao - a student at Nghia Thinh Secondary School said: "The poem is good, rich in meaning and has many impressive images, sincere and passionate emotions. This is also the part of knowledge that is in the focus of our review that we have thoroughly reviewed. Personally, I think that with this exam, I hope to get 8 points.
At Dang Thuc Hua High School - Thanh Chuong, the exam took place quite smoothly and safely. Candidates entered and left the exam site, and did their test on time, without any unusual incidents.

Of the three questions in the test, Hoang found the second question, which discusses the Covid epidemic, to be the most difficult because it relates to real life. However, he completed all three questions before the deadline.
According to Hoang, he studied quite well, so he did not have much difficulty in doing the test. With what he had done, he predicted that he would get about 7 points on his test. Hoang was very excited because he had done the test and was ready to wait for the next exam: "Of all the subjects, I was most afraid of English, but as for Literature and Math, I was quite confident in my abilities," Hoang shared.
The first Literature exam at 4 exam sites in Do Luong district ensured safety from exam room records, exam invigilation and other related work. The exam storage room and exam papers of the 4 exam sites were arranged safely to store exam papers and exam papers according to regulations.

At the end of the Literature exam, most of the students were able to complete the test and achieved the required score. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a student at Trang Son Secondary School at the Do Luong 2 High School exam site, said: "In my room, about 60% of the students completed the test. I myself completed 80%, I think I got 7 points."
Nguyen Thi Khanh Huyen, a student at Doi Cung Secondary School, happily said: "I myself did 90% of the test, and so did my classmates. In the test, there was an idea in question number 1 "Identify and name the isolated components in the sentence" that many students did not do correctly."

Commenting on this year's exam, Ms. Tran Thi Bich Lien - Literature teacher at Do Luong 1 High School said: "Compared to previous years, this year's exam has many innovations, such as high differentiation of subjects, and current social argument questions to help students express their thoughts and opinions. However, students with average academic ability will not do well on this question."
In the first exam, the whole province had 35,609/35,701 candidates taking the exam. The total number of absent candidates was 92. On the first exam day, there was 1 candidate who violated the exam regulations at Dien Chau 4 High School Examination Council. The exam took place safely without any unusual incidents.
