Candidate Tran Khanh Thuy (student of Dang Thai Mai Secondary School) was one of the first candidates to leave the exam site and said: In my opinion, this year's English exam was not too difficult. This candidate also said: Those who have basic grammar and lesson content in the textbook program can easily get 5-6 points. In my opinion, the difficult questions focus on the reading comprehension part, because there are some new words that I have never encountered before, and I have to put them in the whole reading to determine the meaning. I am also quite satisfied with my test and am sure that I got about 80% correct.

Nguyen Khac Thu - Pedagogical Practice Secondary School - Vinh University also excitedly said that he is a student in the English major class, so he found this exam to be within his ability and he did well, about 8 points above. But for those who are not majoring in English, they may have difficulty with the slightly more advanced questions. These are questions with some new words, need to read carefully or they will be fooled and confused about the answers. After this exam, he will also take the English major exam at Vinh University High School for the Gifted.

Meanwhile, a candidate from Ha Huy Tap Secondary School was not satisfied with his exam, although he was sure to get 7-8 points. Because he registered his first choice at Huynh Thuc Khang High School - the school with the highest competition rate in Nghe An province. This candidate also said that the actual exam was not too difficult, and easier than the mock exam given by the Vinh Department of Education and Training before. However, there were some questions where he made basic mistakes, leading to mistakes. He will try harder in the Math exam tomorrow.

This afternoon, at Quy Chau High School, 759 candidates completed the English exam, the second exam in the 10th grade entrance exam. They were excited and happy because this year's exam covered basic and easy knowledge, with questions for good and excellent students accounting for about 10% of the exam.

Most of the students who finished the exam this afternoon were happy. According to many candidates, this year's English exam was easier than last year's.

Teacher Pham Thi Linh - English teacher of Hanh Thiet Secondary School said: "This year's English exam compared to last year's is quite suitable for students, students with average academic ability can still get points.

The knowledge in the exam is basic, without many new words to confuse. Besides, there are questions of a classification nature that account for about 7 to 9 questions out of 50 questions. Students who have prepared and invested time in the exam with good or excellent academic performance can earn the maximum score.

On the afternoon of June 7, after completing the English exam and leaving the exam area, many candidates in Anh Son district excitedly said that the exam was within their ability, within the curriculum, and had been carefully reviewed by their teachers.

Student Nguyen Khanh Linh - Anh Son Secondary School shared: This afternoon I did quite well on my test. I found that this year's test, the core knowledge and grammar were mainly from the 9th grade program, there were 50 questions, of which the basic knowledge questions accounted for about 2/3, so if you have a good grasp of the knowledge in the curriculum, you can get a good score from 6 to 8 points.

Candidate Nguyen Tuan Kiet - Phuc Son Secondary School said: The questions on grammar and vocabulary are quite basic, covering all the topics in the textbook. About half of the questions are not too difficult, many students with average academic ability can also do the test. However, from question 35 onwards, to classify students, there are many questions that require broad knowledge and rich vocabulary to be able to do.

Candidate Vi Thi My Dung - Boarding Secondary School of Thach Ngan Commune (Con Cuong) said she did the test but only aimed for about 6 points. The grammar part was relatively basic, but the vocabulary questions had many difficult words. "I think I can get 5-6 points with this test even though my English skills in class are average," Dung said.

Meanwhile, candidate Vu Manh Cuong, Tra Lan Secondary School, said the exam was within his ability, and the questions were not difficult. According to Cuong, his performance on this exam was also relatively good. After 2 exams, Cuong believes he will pass the entrance exam to Con Cuong High School.

Compared to last year's exam, this year's exam is more difficult and has a higher classification. The good point of the exam is the clear segmentation. With this exam, average students can do 20-25 questions, equivalent to 4-5 points. To get a score of 9, students must be really good, have a wide vocabulary and not have many 10 points, especially for students in mountainous areas.
