Proposal to increase pensions and benefits from July 1, 2019
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is drafting a Decree adjusting pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances. Accordingly, from July 1, 2019, the pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances of June 2019 will increase by 7.19% for 8 subjects.

8 subjects proposed to have their pension, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances adjusted include:
1. Cadres, civil servants, workers, public employees and laborers(including people who have participated in voluntary social insurance, retirees transferred from the Nghe An farmers' social insurance fund according to Decision No. 41/2009/QD-TTg dated March 16, 2009 of the Prime Minister); military personnel, public security officers and people working in key positions who are receiving monthly pensions before July 1, 2019.
2. Commune, ward and town officialsprescribed in Decree No. 92/2009/ND-CP dated October 22, 2009, Decree No. 121/2003/ND-CP dated October 21, 2003 and Decree No. 09/1998/ND-CP dated January 23, 1998 of the Government who are receiving pensions and monthly allowances before July 1, 2019.
3. People receiving monthly disability benefitsas prescribed by law; people receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 91/2000/QD-TTg dated August 4, 2000, Decision No. 613/QD-TTg dated May 6, 2010 of the Prime Minister; rubber workers receiving monthly allowances before July 1, 2019.
4. Commune, ward and town officials receiving monthly allowancesaccording to Decision No. 130/CP dated June 20, 1975 of the Government Council and Decision No. 111-HDBT dated October 13, 1981 of the Council of Ministers before July 1, 2019.
5. Military personnel receiving monthly allowancesaccording to Decision No. 142/2008/QD-TTg dated October 27, 2008, Decision No. 38/2010/QD-TTg dated May 6, 2010 of the Prime Minister before July 1, 2019.
6. People's police are receiving monthly allowancesaccording to Decision No. 53/2010/QD-TTg dated August 20, 2010 of the Prime Minister before July 1, 2019.
7. Military personnel, people's police, and salaried cipher workersas for soldiers and public security officers receiving monthly allowances according to Decision No. 62/2011/QD-TTg dated November 9, 2011 of the Prime Minister before July 1, 2019.
8. People receiving monthly occupational accident and disease benefitsbefore July 1, 2019.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that it proposed an increase of 7.19% (equal to the increase in the basic salary from VND 1,390,000/month to VND 1,490,000/month) on the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2019 for the above subjects.
