(Baonghean) -To commemorate the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, last night (July 27), at the Labor Culture House, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province in collaboration with Nghe An Radio and Television Station and Viet My Media Company organized a music exchange program called “Flowers on the Front Line”. The 1 hour and 30 minute program depicted the sacrifices and victories of the Nghe An army and people with the participation of many artists from across the country, and was broadcast live.
The opening of the program was the song and dance performance “Orchid Flowers on Truong Bon Peak” performed by artists and actors of the Nghe An Song and Dance Troupe, depicting the fight of the young volunteers and soldiers on the Truong Bon front line, facing the bombs and bullets of the American invaders without fear of hardship and sacrifice, “living on the road and dying steadfastly and bravely”, using their bodies as living markers to ensure the vehicle’s safety on the battlefield…
The music exchange program expressed admiration and deep gratitude to the fallen war invalids and martyrs, sacrificing a part of their blood and bones, carving monuments that stand tall in the nation's soul, creating the legend of Vietnam through the works: Where are you, Round footprints on the sand, Vietnam brocade... The order of the battlefield - the order of the heart; everyone regrets their youth, so what is the country, the flowers on the front line forever silently spread their fragrance...
The program brought the older audience back to an unforgettable “red flower time” and left many young people with deep feelings. The program also introduced the Truong Bon relic site in general and the support for the construction of the relic site from people across the country.
