Night of Vietnam - Laos friendship exchange

(Baonghean.vn) - Tonight (July 20), in Vinh City, the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam and the Supreme People's Procuracy of Laos organized a cultural exchange program "Cultivating Vietnam - Laos Friendship". This is one of the activities responding to the "Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2012". Attending the exchange were comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam; comrade Khamsane Souvong - Member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; leaders of the People's Procuracies of the provinces sharing the border..

In the exciting atmosphere of the Party, State and people of Vietnam and Laos, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations; the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (July 18) and respond to the "Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year". The exchange program brought 24 unique performances in Vietnamese and Lao languages, praising the changes and development of the two nations and the People's Procuracy of the two countries. In particular, the praise of the close, loyal and steadfast affection between the Party, State and people of the two brotherly countries of Vietnam and Laos was expressed by the officers and employees of the Procuracy of the two countries, further affirming the strong relationship, solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation of the two countries.

Through the cultural exchange program “Strengthening Vietnam – Laos Friendship” between the Supreme People’s Procuracy of the two countries, it has contributed to consolidating and developing the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties, the two States and the people of the two countries as well as increasing understanding and close cooperation between the two People’s Procuracy branches of the two countries.
