'Lotus Village Singing' Festival in Tuong Duong

(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 126th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, on the evening of May 15, at the Cultural Center of Tuong Duong district, the People's Committee of the district organized the 2016 Sen Village Singing Festival.

This year, the entire district of Tuong Duong has 11 units participating in the “Sen Village Singing” Festival with 44 performances. Especially, there are units from far away such as Nga My, Tam Hop, Xieng My… also crossing the forest and mountains to join the festival.

This year's performances were evaluated as carefully prepared and unique in content, expressing the affection of the highland people for Uncle Ho; the great contributions of the Party in the cause of building and defending the country, bringing peace to the villages...

The performances are imbued with the ethnic identity of the highlands, expressing gratitude to the Party and Uncle Ho.

The performance shows the solidarity of ethnic groups in Tuong Duong district.

Children in the highlands also expressed their love on Uncle Ho's birthday with the performance "Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh as much as children?"

The Sen Village Singing Festival in Tuong Duong district took place over two days, May 15 and 16. Through this, the Organizing Committee selected the most outstanding teams to participate in the upcoming Sen Village Singing Festival in the whole province. This activity is also a cultural event to welcome the election of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.
