Lantern Festival Poetry Night in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Tonight, February 7 (January 16, Nham Thin year), on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Vietnam Poetry Day, Nghe An Province Literature and Arts Association organized a Lantern Festival Poetry Night in Nghe An. Attending were comrades: Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; To Hong Hai - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of provincial departments and branches, along with many artists and poetry lovers in our province.
At the Lantern Festival Poetry Night, poetry lovers from Nghe An had the opportunity to interact and enjoy the works of poets and poetry authors from Nghe An.
At the beginning of the poetry night, the audience heard two famous poems: "Nam Quoc Sonriver" of Ly Thuong Kiet and the poem "Lantern Festival" by President Ho. Next are poems praising the innovation of the homeland and country, praising the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, presented by artists in a lively and emotional way.
The 10th Vietnam Poetry Day is truly a festival for poets and poetry lovers, an occasion to honor the achievements of Vietnamese poetry, affirm the contributions of poets to the country's literature, make poetry more closely connected and closer to the public, and at the same time improve the quality of poetry composition and criticism.
