This year’s competition has 17 male teams and 15 female teams from all the union branches in the whole school. This is an activity to continue promoting the movement of physical education, sports, and health training among students; at the same time creating a healthy playground, enhancing the exchange, solidarity, and mutual understanding among students in the whole school.

The 2015 Vinh University Student Volleyball Tournament took place from March 11 to 26. The tournament included a men's and women's volleyball tournament. Each tournament was divided into 4 groups in a round-robin format, with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the quarter-finals. The top teams from the quarter-finals then advanced to the semi-finals and finals. Immediately after the opening ceremony, two men's volleyball matches took place, between the Economics faculty's male team and the Laotian overseas student team; and between the Physical Education faculty's female team and the Geography faculty's female team.

In addition to the volleyball tournament, within the framework of activities towards the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vinh University will also host the 2015 Vinh University Open Football Tournament; organize a Saturday volunteer day to clean up the environment; organize a forum on "Building model values for Vietnamese youth in the new era"...
