Unique and distinctive images created by a London artist on a vast expanse of beach sand depict the connection between humans and nature.

Everton Wright is a London-based artist known for his work in design, sculpture, painting, and film. For eight years, Everton has been developing a project called “Walking Drawings”, which explores the idea of naturally-created artworks in large spaces.

He created these unusual patterns in the sand using a very free-form approach and some mechanical devices to make the images last longer. Everton Wright invited people of all ages and genders to come and walk along the detailed designs he created on the sands of the beach to get these clear and unique images.

According to Wright, this is considered a form of direct art interaction for the public. He also explained that this method makes the “natural drawing” come to life and not just a static image.

“Walking Drawing” combines elements of sand, sea, and air to create a new, experiential work that connects people and nature, completely different from the familiar materials used to create works of art such as charcoal, paint, color, paper, or modern technology and digital materials today. Here, people and landscapes combine with pixels to create new interactive art images and express the close connection between people and the natural things of life./.
