Nghe An Center for Continuing Education (TTGDTX) was established on December 16, 1995 on the basis of merging 2 units.Unit: Nghe An Provincial Center for Part-time University Training and Nghe An School of Educational Management.

Overcoming many difficulties and shortages in the early days of its establishment, the Center has firmly inherited and promoted the positive and creative factors of both units to stabilize and operate effectively, excellently completing assigned tasks.

To make training effective, the Center annually investigates, surveys, and studies the situation, provides competent authorities with information on the need for regular study in the locality, and advises and proposes appropriate solutions to meet the training and fostering requirements for cadres and civil servants in the period of innovation - Industrialization - Modernization, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.


Over the years, the center has cooperated with universities, colleges and vocational secondary schools (VSS) to organize in-service training (now work-study (VLVH) and distance training at university, college and VSS levels for officials and civil servants in the state and social sectors. During the training process, the center and affiliated schools have deployed and implemented many effective solutions in developing, expanding the scale as well as improving the quality of training.

The diversification of training types and majors attracts and creates many opportunities and favorable conditions for people of all ages and levels to study regularly. Every year, there are about 4,500 students in the VLVH system and 4,000 students in the Distance learning system, doubling the number of students from 2001 and before.

To enhance and expand French cultural exchange, implementing the agreement between Nghe An province and COTES DARMOR of the French Republic, a French language training center was established in Nghe An, located at the center and directly managed by the center with the participation of the Vietnam-France Friendship Association. French teachers and French teachers have contributed to improving the effectiveness of learning and using French in the province.

The center also trains and develops a team of educational management staff, trains labor resources with A, B, C qualifications in Information Technology, Foreign Languages... Over the past 15 years, Nghe An Continuing Education Center has cooperated with 26 universities and vocational schools, opening training courses in over 40 different majors for more than 30,000 cadres and civil servants with university and vocational degrees.

To maintain stability and development, Nghe An Continuing Education Center sets out an important strategic goal throughout its operation: By all positive measures, strive to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of training to affirm itself as a prestigious human resource training institution, on that basis expand the scale and training codes, promptly meet the training requirements - fostering cadres, civil servants for the province and the learning needs of society. Most graduates have promoted good training effectiveness, meeting the requirements of tasks in all fields of work.

The center takes care of building a team of managers, teachers, and employees who are competent, qualified, have political qualities, understanding and skills in in-service training, have the ability to communicate, manage students, have the ability to work independently, be creative in work, be proficient in one job but can do many jobs. Up to now, 100% of the staff and teachers have met or exceeded the standards, including 1 doctor, 5 masters, 6 postgraduates, 16 university graduates, 1 comrade was awarded the title of Excellent Teacher.

After 15 years of striving to build and grow, for many consecutive years, it has achieved the title of excellent progress; the Party Committee is clean and strong, the Trade Union and Youth Union are strong. 100% of the families of the Center's staff and civil servants are recognized as Cultural Families. For many consecutive years, the Center has received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Education Trade Union and the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

In 2005, the Center was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the State and recognized as a City-level Cultural Unit. In particular, in 2010, the Center was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the State.

With the achievements and experiences gained in 15 years of construction and development, the Center continues to strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks, making an important contribution to the cause of Education and Training, affirming that Nghe An Continuing Education Center is a reliable address in training human resources for the locality.
