To welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province has just issued a plan and budget for organizing activities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025. Accordingly, the province will organize fireworks to celebrate the New Year of the Snake on New Year's Eve at Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku City.

Firework time is 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 29, 2025 (ie New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of At Ty).

The total cost of organizing activities to serve the Lunar New Year 2025 is more than 53.3 billion VND.

Along with that, at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, January 24 (December 25, Giap Thin year), Gia Lai province will organize a flower offering ceremony at the Uncle Ho Monument with the Central Highlands ethnic groups and incense offering to President Ho Chi Minh at the Uncle Ho shrine in the Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku City); at 8:00 a.m. on the same day, a ceremony will be held to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs cemetery.

In addition, Gia Lai province also organized 20 working delegations led by provincial leaders to visit and present Tet gifts to organizations and individuals during the expected period from January 9 to 25 (ie from December 10 to 26 of the year of the Dragon).

Along with that, from 10:00 p.m. on January 28 to 0:15 a.m. on January 29 (the evening of December 29, the year of Giap Thin and the early morning of January 1, the year of At Ty) at Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku City) will organize an art program and fireworks display to celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025.
