So far, the Nghe An team has set a new record for Vietnamese football, SLNA is the only team that has never been relegated in nearly 40 years. SLNA's first team is maintaining a streak of 9 consecutive wins in V.League 2018, securing a place in the final of the 2018 National Cup. SLNA is a club with teams participating in all youth tournaments from U11 to U21 nationwide. And the achievements in 2018 are 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal and the SLNA U21 team has reached the final round.

SLNA youth football also holds the record for the number of championships for the U13 age groups (6 times), U17 (7 times), U19 (5 times) and U21 (5 times). In total, SLNA owns 39 official championship titles at all levels, not counting friendly and amateur tournaments. These are unprecedented records that other football clubs in Vietnam have never reached.
