Roll call of SLNA's new recruits participating in V.League 2021
(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghe An team has just completed the registration of the list of players competing in V.League 2021 and sent it to the Organizing Committee. Accordingly, there are 25 domestic players and 3 foreign players with an average age of 25.5.
In the last transfer period, SLNA brought in only 1 domestic player. That is midfielder Phan Dinh Thang from Quang Nam Club. The player born in 1993 in Hung Nguyen grew up from Viettel training center and played for the Quang Nam team for 6 seasons, scoring 8 goals.
Regarding foreign players, besides striker Peter Samuel, Bruno Henrique and Igor Jelic are the 3 foreign players registered by the Nghe An team for V.League 2021. Serbian center-back Igor Jelic, born in 1989, 1m92 tall, played for SHB Da Nang Club in 18 matches last season, scoring 2 goals.
If last year, Coach Ngo Quang Truong promoted 7-8 young players to the first team to compete in the V.League, this year, only 2 out of 4 names Tran Manh Quynh, Nguyen Thanh Huy, Nguyen Xuan Binh and Dang Quang Tu were retained. Those are Manh Quynh and Xuan Binh, these two players were both born in 2001 and played successfully in the recent U19 and U21 national tournaments.

Both are at the age to continue to be part of the Vietnam U19 team and they are the youngest players in the SLNA squad participating in the V.League. The average age of SLNA this season is 25.5, equivalent to 25.4 compared to last season. The oldest player of SLNA is defender Tran Dinh Dong, born in 1987.
Before the new season, the force ofSLNAThere are not many cracks or serious injuries. There are two cases of injuries, Dang Van Lam and Cao Xuan Thang, both of which are minor. They can completely return to play from the first rounds. One of the good signs is that midfielder Nguyen Van Duc returns to the midfield, giving SLNA's coaching staff more options.
