Check out the car models with 'shocking' price reduction of nearly 200 million VND/car
Stimulating consumer demand to attract buyers to clear inventory is the main reason why car companies offer strong discounts.
In early July, Honda shocked its competitors by drastically reducing the prices of many car models, including the Honda Odyssey, which was reduced by up to 200 million VND. According to experts, low sales were the reason for Honda's drastic price reduction for the Odyssey.
By mid-July, Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi suddenly reduced the price of the Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 model by 164 million VND. The current selling price of the Mitsubishi Pajero 3.0 at dealers has decreased from 2.12 billion VND to more than 1.9 billion VND.

Another Japanese car company, Suzuki, is not out of the game when it has drastically reduced the price of its imported SUV by 170 million VND. This is considered the biggest reduction in the company's history to stimulate market demand. Currently, the actual selling price of Suzuki Grand Vitara at the dealer is only 699 million VND (including VAT), instead of the previously listed price of 869 million VND.
With this great incentive, Suzuki Grand Vitara is the 2-wheel drive SUV with the cheapest price in the Vietnamese market today.
Suzuki has announced that this car model will stop being distributed in the Vietnamese market, but there are still many of these cars left at Suzuki's authorized dealers.
Therefore, the fact that some authorized Suzuki dealers in Vietnam have drastically reduced the price of Suzuki Grand Vitara by up to 170 million VND with gifts is considered a move to "clear stock" to stimulate market demand in preparation for a series of new cars about to hit the market.
