(Baonghean.vn) - The 6th round witnessed the matches of the away teams. Among them, the teams that are considered to be the championship candidates such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi all won to maintain the race.

The "fire pans" heat up again

With a total of 66,000 spectators coming to the stadium, reaching an average of 9,429 people/match, round 6 of V.League 2020 is the round with the largest number of fans watching live at the stadium of the National Championship since the beginning of the season.

And this number does not come naturally. There are 3 stadiums in round 6 of V.League 2020 attracting 15,000 spectators to the stadium for each match, specifically Vinh stadium with the match between SLNA Club - Ho Chi Minh City Club, Thien Truong stadium with the match between DNH Nam Dinh - Hai Phong and Hoa Xuan stadium with the match between SHB Da Nang - HAGL.

While the heat of Thien Truong's fire pan has become a trademark since last season, in this round, the fact that Vinh Stadium and Hoa Xuan Stadium attracted such a large number of spectators is a very happy milestone.

Many away teams enjoyed the fun

Of the 7 matches in round 6, 5 teams took home points. Ho Chi Minh City won 3-1 against SLNA at Vinh Stadium, Hai Phong defeated DNH Nam Dinh 2-0 at Thien Truong, Thanh Hoa defeated Viettel Club 2-1 at Hang Day, Hanoi beat B. Binh Duong 2-0, HL Ha Tinh drew with Saigon 1-1 at Thong Nhat.

Only two home teams enjoyed complete joy in this round, SHB Da Nang Club and Than Quang Ninh, when they defeated Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Quang Nam respectively with the same score of 3-1.

SLNA's unbeaten streak ends

After the loss to Ho Chi Minh City, SLNA could no longer maintain its unbeaten streak after 5 matches enjoying the feeling of drawing and winning. This loss meant that the Nghe An team as well as goalkeeper Van Hoang only had 480 minutes to keep a clean sheet.

However, with 3 goals conceded against Ho Chi Minh City, SLNA is still the most solid defense in V.League 2020. The teams that are losing the least are Ho Chi Minh City, SLNA, and Saigon. Of which, Saigon Club is the only team that has not lost until after round 6. They have drawn 4 matches and ranked 5th on the rankings.

Thanh Hoa Club "changes generals and changes fortunes"

That was the saying for Thanh Hoa FC after they were led by coach Thanh Cong. Before appointing coach Thanh Cong, Thanh Hoa had not scored any points. However, in the 4th and 5th rounds, Thanh Hoa drew with SLNA before defeating DNH Nam Dinh at home.

With a 2-1 victory right on Viettel's field with two goals from Van Thang and Hoang Vu Samson, the Thanh team won 7 points after 3 recent good matches, temporarily ranked 11th on the rankings, far ahead of the bottom team DNH Nam Dinh.

Cong Phuong "blossoms" again, Quang Hai causes a "storm"

The 6th round witnessed Cong Phuong's very stable performance after getting married. The striker from Nghe An scored for the second time in a row, previously in the match against Viettel. Not only that, this round also witnessed Ha Duc Chinh scoring for SHB Da Nang Club.

On the other hand, this was a rather regrettable round for Phan Van Duc and Tien Linh as they could not increase their own goals. Meanwhile, Nguyen Quang Hai extended his disappointing streak in the V.League when he did not score any goals for Hanoi FC.

For midfielder Quang Hai, because of his actions and gestures on Binh Duong field towards the stretcher bearers, the Hanoi FC player is receiving harsh criticism from fans. The match between B. Binh Duong and Hanoi also left many echoes when the referee did not do his job well, causing the match to have 9 minutes of extra time.

The race to the top is unpredictable.

The V.League 2020 rankings have had some changes when Hanoi FC won this round. Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem and his team have 10 points, temporarily ranked 3rd. The return of Hanoi is threatening SLNA's 2nd place, the Nghe An team is only 1 point ahead of Hanoi while Ho Chi Minh City has 13 points, temporarily leading.

At the bottom of the rankings, the race to the strong group is equally fierce. DNH Nam Dinh Club is sinking deep with only 3 points. Coach Nguyen Van Dung and his team have only had 1 win and lost 5 matches. Above is Quang Nam with 4 points, HL Ha Tinh has 6 points.

In the 7th round, SLNA will visit the bottom team Nam Dinh FC while Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will return to their home field to welcome SHB Da Nang and Saigon FC, respectively. The results of these 3 matches will decide the three-horse race at the top of V.League 2020.

Lessons for young SLNA players after the first loss at V.League 2020

(Baonghean.vn) - SLNA losing to a team like TP HCM is not surprising because the away team has a higher quality and class squad. However, losing with a big score will help SLNA's young players learn a lot from the opponent's playing style and from the weaknesses that are exposed.
