Dien Chau: Arrested case of transporting more than 300 broiler chickens without valid documents

(Baonghean.vn)- At 6:30 p.m. on August 11, the Environmental Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) coordinated with Dien Chau Veterinary Station to arrest a case of transporting 300 chickens without valid documents.

The number of chickens without valid documents was seized by the authorities.

Accordingly, at the above time, while on duty in Dien Chau town, the working group discovered a truck with license plate 37C-112.84 traveling in the South-North direction with suspicious signs, so they asked to stop the vehicle for inspection. Thereby, it was discovered that the vehicle was carrying many plastic boxes, inside of which were locked 300 broiler chickens weighing about 500 kg.

The driver, Nguyen Tuan Anh, born in 1993, residing in village 6, Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district, could not present any documents proving the origin and quarantine certificate of the above chickens. According to the driver's initial declaration, the chickens were collected from a farm of a person named Sy in Dien Trung commune and were on their way to Dien Ky commune for consumption.

The working group made a record, seized the above shipment and handed it over to Dien Chau Veterinary Station to complete the documents and handle it according to the provisions of law./.
