Dien Chau: Arrested case of transporting 3,500 kg of pork fat without valid documents

(Baonghean.vn) - At 1:30 p.m. on May 4, Market Management Team No. 1 of Nghe An, stationed in Dien Chau district, coordinated with Traffic Police Force 5-1 to arrest a case of transporting lard without valid documents.

140 barrels of lard without valid documents were seized by authorities.

While patrolling and controlling on National Highway 1A in Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau, Market Management Team No. 1 (Nghe An), Traffic Police 5-1 (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province) inspected a truck with license plate 17C-05392 driven by driver Tran Cong Huan, born in 1979 in Vu Thu - Thai Binh, traveling in the South-North direction. Through inspection, it was discovered that the truck was carrying 140 cans of pre-processed pork fat, with a total weight of 3,500 kg, all of which did not have a quarantine certificate. Driver Tran Cong Huan confessed to transporting this amount of pork fat for hire for customers from Ho Chi Minh City to Thai Binh for consumption.

Currently, all of the above fat has been handed over to the Dien Chau District Veterinary Department for handling according to the provisions of the Law.
