Dien Chau: Commune cultural post office burned down

This morning, May 9, a fire broke out at the Cuong Temple Cultural Post Office, Dien An Commune (Dien Chau, Nghe An), causing great property damage.

Some witnesses said that at around 8am this morning, many people detected a burning smell and immediately went to check and determined that the smell was coming from the Cuong Temple Culture Post Office. Immediately after that, a fire broke out fiercely, and people mobilized forces to put out the fire and called the fire department to put it out.





Nghe An Fire Prevention and Fighting Police mobilized 3 fire trucks to travel more than 30km from Vinh City to Dien Chau to put out the fire.

Nghe An Fire Prevention and Fighting Force dispatched three fire trucks nearly 30km from Vinh City to Dien Chau to put out the fire. After more than 15 minutes of extinguishing the fire, the fire was completely extinguished. However, at this time, many objects in the post office such as computers, phones, books, newspapers, air conditioners, etc. were completely burned. The ceiling and objects were also burned to the ground. In particular, a BTS Vina transmitter located in the post office was also burned down and seriously damaged. Initial estimates indicate that the damage is in the hundreds of millions of dong.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
