Dien Chau: Workshop on solutions to improve peanut productivity

(Baonghean.vn) - With the consent of Nghe An Plant Protection Department and Dien Chau Plant Protection Station, on the morning of September 20, 2014, at the winter peanut field of Dien Thinh commune (Dien Chau), An Giang Plant Protection Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Syngenta Company Limited organized a Conference and workshop on the field with the topic "Process of using pesticides to manage pests and increase peanut productivity".

Attending the workshop were officers from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, agricultural extension stations, officers from agricultural cooperatives, village chiefs and many farmers with experience in peanut production in Dien Chau district.

At the workshop, Syngenta's technical experts and staff presented many convincing scientific evidences that have been tested through practical application of pest control products for seeds and the growth process of peanuts for high yield.

Through the workshop, many opinions from cooperative officials and farmers agreed and shared experiences in applying the process of using plant protection drugs, especially the products: AmistarTop; Cruiser; Tilt Super used locally for peanuts and affirmed their trust in the quality and effectiveness of these products.
