Dien Chau: Inauguration of Martyrs Temple

(Baonghean)-Dien Chau District (Nghe An) has just solemnly held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Martyrs Temple. Attending the ceremony were Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Thai Van Hang, Le Xuan Dai, Dinh Viet Hong and representatives of provincial departments and branches, heroes of the armed forces, leaders of central ministries and branches who are children of Dien Chau and a large number of people in the district.

Previously, on the evening of December 17, the district held a consecration ceremony and a memorial service for the heroic martyrs who died for the independence and freedom of the nation.
After more than 2 years of construction, the district's Martyrs' Temple has been inaugurated and put into use, satisfying the wishes of the Party Committee and people of the district, deeply demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".

The Dien Chau District Martyrs' Temple was invested in and built on the basis of expanding and upgrading the district's martyrs' cemetery, with a total area of ​​over 2 hectares, next to National Highway 7. The project is designed to include the main items of Uncle Ho's Temple and the Monument to Heroic Martyrs, graves and many other items, with a total value of over 32 billion VND, of which officials and people contributed over 2 billion VND.

Having gone through two heroic resistance wars of the nation, together with the whole country, Dien Chau was both the frontline and the solid rear, ready to serve the resistance. During those fierce years, Dien Chau had thousands of its sons leave to perform the duty of protecting the Fatherland, including more than 4,700 soldiers who heroically sacrificed on the battlefields, nearly 6,000 wounded and sick soldiers, 5 people were awarded the title of Hero of the Armed Forces, 134 heroic Vietnamese mothers. Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, especially after 25 years of implementing the Party's renovation policy, Dien Chau is flourishing and developing quite comprehensively in all fields, worthy of the sacrifice of the heroic martyrs. Along with implementing the military rear policy well, paying attention to and caring for families with meritorious services, focusing on promoting the work of gratitude.

The inauguration of the Martyrs' Temple is an opportunity for cadres and people of Dien Chau to review the heroic past of their homeland. This is an address to educate revolutionary traditions for generations of children in the district to understand more about the great sacrifices of previous generations of fathers and brothers - the excellent children of the homeland who fell for the country to blossom with independence. With its traditional and sacred values, together with the historical relic of Cuong Temple, Dien Chau Martyrs' Temple continues to shine the spiritual beauty in the cultural life of the heroic people of Dien Chau./.
