Dien Chau: Iron railings on National Highway 1A have been returned by the people.

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, along National Highway 1A, the section running from Quynh Luu district to Nghi Loc district, a series of iron railings have been lost, causing disorder in social security.

After the press got involved and continuously reported, on March 6, 2015, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1175/UBND/GT to the Department of Transport, People's Committees of districts, towns and a number of functional agencies, requesting intervention to end the situation of mass dismantling of iron railings as reported by the press.

Many iron railings that were previously lost have now been restored to their original condition.

Immediately after the province's dispatch, localities took action, in which Dien Chau district - the locality with the most lost railings, took action quickly and brought good results.

Up to now, according to observation, 100% of the iron railings that were previously lost have been returned to their original state by the people.

Talking with Mr. Ho Sy Truyen - Chairman of Dien Ky Commune People's Committee, we learned: "When the province's official dispatch was received, our commune police force continuously patrolled National Highway 1A for 5 days and nights to arrest those who dismantled the railings, and at the same time propagated to raise awareness among the people. Up to now, Dien Ky commune has "returned" 100% of the iron railings... This issue has also been well completed by communes such as Dien Hong, Dien Yen... Through this, our local government would like to thank the press agencies, central and local, for actively detecting and promptly preventing this situation, thanks to which the security and order situation in the area has been more stable."
