(Baonghean.vn) - At 11:00 p.m. on June 26, in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An), a railway accident occurred, causing a young man to die tragically on the railway tracks.
At the above time, Thong Nhat passenger train number SE2 (belonging to Hanoi Passenger Transport Company) was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi to km 271 +950, south of Yen Ly station, when it hit a young man about 25 years old. The head-on collision caused the young man to die on the spot, his body was crushed into two parts by the train.

Immediately after the accident, the Thong Nhat train made an emergency stop for 30 minutes and handed over the body to the local authorities for burial. The victim's identity was also clarified as Tran Thanh Son, 25 years old, from Dien My commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An).
It is known that before the accident, Son had just been drinking with a group of friends at a bar near the accident site and was on the railway to answer the phone when the accident happened.
