(Baonghean.vn) - At 11:00 p.m. on June 26, in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An), a railway accident occurred, causing a young man to die tragically on the tracks.
At that time, Thong Nhat passenger train number SE2 (belonging to Hanoi Passenger Transport Company) was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi at km 271 +950, south of Yen Ly station, when it hit a young man about 25 years old. The head-on collision caused the young man to die on the spot, his body was crushed into two parts by the train.

Immediately after the accident, the Thong Nhat train stopped for 30 minutes to handle the situation and handed over the body to local authorities for burial. The victim's identity was also clarified as Tran Thanh Son, 25 years old, from Dien My commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An).
It is known that before the accident, Son had just been drinking with a group of friends at a bar near the accident site and was on the train to answer the phone when the accident happened.
