(Baonghean.vn)- After lunch, many garment workers at a company in Dien Hong Industrial Park, Dien Chau district suffered food poisoning and had to be hospitalized.

Mr. Dao Trong Dung, Head of the Nghe An Food Safety and Hygiene Department, said that the food poisoning incident occurred in the early afternoon of January 8 at the Nam Sung Vina garment company in Dien Hong Industrial Park, Dien Chau district.

After a lunch of meat, vegetables and peanuts, garment factory workers felt severe stomach pain, nausea and some fainted.

The incident was reported to the factory, the workers are being taken to Dien Chau District General Hospital and Phu Dien Hospital for emergency treatment.

Immediately, Nghe An Department of Health sent a working group to direct the rescue of the victim, Nghe An Department of Food Safety and Hygiene also sent an emergency working group to Dien Chau to investigate the cause of the food poisoning.
