Among them, Colonel Tran Quan Su - Former Head of Special Forces Department, General Staff of Military Region 1, Ministry of National Defense was awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

The comrades awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal include: Colonel Vo Dinh Nam - Former Deputy Chief of Staff, Military Command of Thua Thien Hue Province, Military Region 4, Ministry of National Defense; Colonel Ho Sy To - Former Head of the Cryptography Department, General Staff of Military Region 3, Ministry of National Defense; Lieutenant Colonel Cao Xuan Sam - Former Regiment Commander, Regiment 273, Division 341, Military Region 4, Ministry of National Defense and posthumously awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to Colonel Nguyen Van Thu - Former Commander of the Military Command of Dien Chau District.
