There are 241 households participating in this model, whose products are guaranteed by the enterprise. Farmers must follow a safe intensive farming process, with a method of completely not applying nitrogen fertilizer but only applying 50 kg of organic multi-mineral fertilizer and 10 kg of Canadian potassium per sao. The entire model is supported with 142 million VND, of which 100% is for seeds and 30% for fertilizer materials.
Through monitoring the growth and production of rice according to this organic model, it shows that the production cost per hectare is reduced by nearly 2 million VND, while pests and diseases are greatly limited compared to traditional methods, productivity increases, rice quality ensures food safety and hygiene, and the ability to improve the soil for the next crop.
