Kremlin says Russian victory inevitable; President Biden urges Putin not to win
(Baonghean.vn) - According to TASS news agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also noted that Western countries insist that the special military campaign that Russia is conducting in Ukraine must end, "but they want to end it with Russia's defeat."

Specifically, Mr. Peskov told reporters that the West wants Russia to lose the Ukraine conflict, but the situation on the battlefield shows the inevitable opposite.
Western countries say that the special military operation must end, "but they want to end it with Russia's defeat," he noted.
“On the one hand, they want this war to stop, but on the other hand, they are prolonging it by throwing money into the war furnace,” Mr. Peskov added.
In another development, Reuters news agency reported that on December 6, US President Joe Biden urgently called on Republicans to agree to pump more military aid into Ukraine, warning that Russia's victory in Ukraine would give Moscow the power to attack US NATO allies and possibly draw US troops into the war.
Biden spoke as the US plans to announce an additional $175 million in aid to Ukraine as money runs out for Kiev. He signaled a willingness to make significant changes to US migration policy along the border with Mexico in an effort to win over Republicans.
“If Putin takes Ukraine, he won’t stop there,” President Biden said. The US leader predicted that Putin would attack a NATO ally, and then “we’ll have something we’re not looking for and we don’t have right now: American troops fighting Russian troops.”
“We cannot let Putin win,” Mr. Biden asserted.
But Senate Republicans later blocked a Democratic-backed bill that would have provided billions of dollars in new security aid to Ukraine and Israel. Among other international concerns, Republicans said they wanted to emphasize the importance of tightening border policies.
