Dien Lam (Dien Chau) meets New Rural standards
(Baonghean.vn) - With great efforts from local authorities, although it is the only mountainous commune in Dien Chau, Dien Lam has completed 19 new rural criteria.

After 6 years of building new rural areas, Dien Lam mobilized a large capital source of over 304 billion VND, of which people contributed up to 149 billion VND, donated more than 2,000 square meters of land, nearly 25,000 working days to build traffic works, irrigation works and other welfare works.
Currently, the average income per capita reaches 26.4 million VND/year; the poverty rate of the commune has decreased to 3.12%. Along with that, 5/5 schools in the area have met national standards. The annual average rate of cultural families is over 86%. Dien Lam is recognized as a safe commune in terms of security and order.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke to acknowledge the results and efforts of Dien Lam officials and people, and at the same time requested the commune to continue to improve and enhance the quality of the criteria.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of recognition for the commune meeting new rural standards in 2016 to Dien Lam and an emulation flag to the cadres and people of Dien Lam who had excellently completed all tasks, led the patriotic emulation movement and awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals.

Dien Chau District People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to build new rural areas in Dien Lam commune.
