(Baonghean.vn) - Pursuant to Document No. 2698/BCT-DTĐL dated April 16, 2020 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on supporting electricity price reduction and electricity bill reduction for electricity customers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic; Nghe An Electricity Company announces the reduction of electricity price and electricity bill to support electricity customers in areas affected by the Covid-19 epidemic as follows:
I. Subjects eligible for price reduction and electricity bill reduction include:
1. Reduce electricity price:
- Retail electricity price for manufacturing and business sectors: Reduced by 10%;
- Retail price for household electricity customers: 10% discount from level 1 to level 4.
- Customers are tourist accommodation establishments: Reduce electricity prices from the retail electricity price applied to business to the same price applied to manufacturing industries after the discount.
- For wholesale electricity prices in rural areas; wholesale electricity prices in collective housing areas and residential areas; wholesale electricity prices for commercial - service - residential complexes: 10% reduction from level 1 to level 4 of residential prices; 10% reduction for other purposes.
- For wholesale electricity prices for industrial parks, wholesale electricity prices for markets: 10% reduction.
2. Reduce electricity bill:
The electricity bill reduction is calculated based on the amount of electricity price that the subject is entitled to based on current regulations (pretax value) directly to electricity customers who are facilities for preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic to buy electricity from Electricity units:
- 100% reduction in electricity bills for facilities (other than hotels) used for quarantine and centralized medical examination of suspected and infected Covid-19 patients.
- 20% reduction in electricity bills for medical facilities used to examine, test, and treat suspected and confirmed Covid-19 patients.
- 20% reduction in electricity bills for hotels used to quarantine suspected and confirmed Covid-19 patients.
II. Support time:
Implement support for reducing electricity prices and reducing electricity bills for the entire bill period within three (03) months. Time to start implementing electricity price reduction and electricity bill reduction:
1. For customers using household electricity: Applicable to electricity bills for May, June and July 2020.
2. For customers using electricity for non-residential purposes, the electricity price reduction will be applied from the most recent bill period from April 16, 2020.
3. The content of the support money for customers affected by COVIS -19 is shown on the electronic invoices of the billing periods, ensuring a full 3 months.
