Vinh urban appearance: Construction waste "attacks" the streets
(Baonghean) - In recent months, the median strip of Phan Dinh Phung Street - connecting Vinh Market intersection (the intersection of Quang Trung Street and Tran Phu Street) to the overpass intersection on Nguyen Sinh Sac Street has been "attacked" by construction waste. This is an important route at the southern gateway of Vinh City, with two service roads on both sides separated by two large lanes by a soft median strip with land for planting trees. However, this soft median strip has become a place for many people to dump construction waste.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, a furniture saleswoman on Phan Dinh Phung Street, was upset, saying that the soft median strip should be a place to plant trees to create a beautiful landscape, but people poured bricks, limestone and mortar, and even in front of number 32 Phan Dinh Phung, people carried out a broken toilet and threw it here. This is unacceptable.
Choosing two times, Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 20 to observe this road, we found that there are many "unacceptable" locations on this road. Right from the Nguyen Sinh Sac overpass, the road in front of Cua Nam Flower Garden Park has become a dumping ground for construction materials that are piling up more and more. It's as if this is a real landfill. Going a little further, in front of Naconex Nghe An Joint Stock Company (No. 38 Phan Dinh Phung), the monolithic construction materials were carried and thrown onto the median strip, lying haphazardly, piled up, and now have moss growing. Similarly, the road in front of lane 129, block 15, Phan Dinh Phung street, there was a pile of mortar, slag, broken bricks, rocks... more than a week ago, but it's still the same. More specifically, the section from house number 158 to 182 Phan Dinh Phung street is dense with very offensive construction waste.
How could it be that garbage has been blocking the median strip of a major road for so long without those responsible seeing it?
