Fire drill at gas station

(Baonghean.vn) -Responding to the National Week on Food Safety and Fire Prevention, today March 13, Nghe An Petroleum Company coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police to organize a fire fighting drill at Hung Binh Petroleum Store, No. 26 Nguyen Sy Sach Street, Vinh City.

The hypothetical situation is that at 3:00 p.m., when all activities at this gas station were going on normally, a fire broke out in the transaction area due to carelessness in the use of heat sources. The local fire fighting force used an alarm and the staff here cut off the power to the entire store, used on-site fire fighting equipment to put out the fire and prevent the fire from spreading to protect the store's assets, and at the same time called the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force.

Upon receiving the news, the professional fire fighting force of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department dispatched 4 fire trucks with nearly 30 officers and soldiers to the scene to quickly deploy a team to spray water and PO1 foam on the fire. The Hung Binh Ward Police force was also mobilized to the scene to coordinate in fighting the fire and ensuring traffic safety and order.

After 20 minutes of firefighting efforts, the forces controlled and completely extinguished the fire, property was absolutely protected, and fire damage was limited to the maximum extent.

According to the assessment of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police, through the drill, it was shown that the on-site fire fighting force of Hung Binh petrol station handled the situations well, performed the trained operations quite skillfully, ensuring timely handling and good coordination when bad situations occurred.
