Military drill to fight enemy infiltration into the border

(Baonghean.vn) -On July 17, at the border commune of Chau Khe, Con Cuong district, Nghe An province, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a live-fire exercise to fight the enemy infiltrating the border area in 2014. Attending and directing was Major General Nguyen Xuan Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, Deputy Head of the Exercise Steering Committee of Nghe An province.

Major General Nguyen Xuan Lam encouraged the forces participating in the military exercise.

In order to carry out the intention of the 2014 Con Cuong district defense area exercise of the Nghe An province defense area exercise steering committee, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a live-fire exercise with the following content: Chau Khe Border Post coordinated with the militia of Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district to organize an attack to fight the enemy invading the border in the area. The hypothetical situation was that when the border guard force discovered a commando group of 13 to 15 armed men infiltrating across the border to reconnoiter the situation of our area, so that they could plan an attack and invasion, the Chau Khe Border Post force coordinated with the militia to capture and destroy the commando group.

This is an activity to implement the combat plan in the border defense area. Chau Khe Border Post with its existing organization and equipment, is reinforced with militia and firepower: B40, 12.7mm, 60mm mortar, heavy machine gun... commanded by the Station Chief to coordinate with the militia, mobilize forces, approach, surround and completely destroy the enemy group that infiltrated across the border.

The military drill ended with absolute safety for people and equipment.
