Total aquaculture and fishing output in the first 11 months of 2017 also increased significantly due to relatively favorable weather conditions for fishermen to go to sea, more time spent on fishing grounds, and an increase in the number of vessels and fishing equipment capacity.

The output of exploited aquatic products also increased significantly, reaching 123,120 tons, an increase of 16,054 tons. The fishing methods with high efficiency are purse seine, line, gillnet and trawl. The average output reached 15 - 20 tons/trip/ship, each worker earned an average of 8 - 10 million VND/month.
