Adjusting the regime for people directly clearing bombs and mines

The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is drafting a document to submit to the Prime Minister for consideration to increase the cost of living for soldiers, defense workers and civil servants directly performing bomb, mine and explosive clearance tasks by 3 times compared to the current level.

According to current regulations in Decision No.122/2007/QD-TTgAccording to the Prime Minister's Decree, military personnel, defense workers and civil servants of specialized engineering units directly performing bomb, mine and explosive clearance tasks are entitled to a living allowance of 60,000 VND/person/day.

To suit current reality, in the draft, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs proposes to increase the support level to 180,000 VND/person/day, calculated based on actual days of performing tasks in bomb, mine and explosive areas.
