Adjustment of entrance fees to the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups
From April 25, 2013, the entrance fee to the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups will be adjusted to increase according to the provisions of Circular27/2013/TT-BTCnewly issued by the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, the fee for adults will be 20,000 VND/person/trip instead of the current 5,000 VND/trip/person as stipulated in the Decision.34/2007/QD-BTC.
For students in universities, colleges, intermediate schools, and vocational schools, the fee is 15,000 VND/person/time.
For children and students in general education institutions, the fee is 10,000 VND/person/time.
Children are people from 6 to under 16 years old. In cases where it is difficult to determine whether a person is under 16 years old, any document proving that the person is under 16 years old is sufficient; Students are people with student cards issued by schools in the national education system in Vietnam.
The Circular also clearly states that there is no entrance fee to the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures for children under 6 years old and visitors with severe disabilities.
This Circular takes effect from April 25, 2013. Decision No. 34/2007/QD-BTC dated May 15, 2007 of the Minister of Finance regulating the collection rates, collection, payment, management and use of entrance fees at the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups is annulled.
The Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures is located in the center of Thai Nguyen city, 80 km from Hanoi capital, along National Highway 3 to the North. The Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures was established in 1960.
As a central museum located in Thai Nguyen province, the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups is not only a large and beautiful architectural work but also a major cultural center with the following functions and tasks: Research, collection, inventory, preservation, display, propaganda and promotion of the traditional cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups nationwide.
Currently, the exhibition system of the Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures is built on the basis of language groups combined with regional culture, introducing the cultural identity of 54 ethnic groups associated with the environmental landscape of each residential area. Including a solemn space in Hall A of the Museum and a system of 5 exhibition rooms.
