What helps Vinamilk be voted the best place to work in Vietnam?

(Baonghean) - On March 27, 2019, Anphabe Career Network Community Organization (according to survey results of Intage Vietnam Company) announced the list of "100 best places to work in Vietnam in 2018".

According to the announced results, Vinamilk continues to maintain its No. 1 position in the top 100 best places to work. This shows the sustainability of Vinamilk's human resources strategy in particular and development in general in the context of 2018 being a year of many fluctuations in the recruitment market, especially the trend of "losing talent" becoming increasingly serious.

Entering its sixth year, the Vietnam Best Places to Work survey is a trusted source of information on human resources and employment trends. This year, the survey was expanded to measure the employer brand attractiveness of 674 businesses, across 24 industries, with the participation of 75,481 experienced workers.

Maintaining the No. 1 position in the 100 best places to work in Vietnam for two consecutive years shows that Vinamilk continues to meet expectations regarding career prospects, working environment, attractiveness of the recruitment brand and talent retention.
According to Anphabe's survey, the five factors that have a high impact on increasing employees' self-motivation include: Well-being, Autonomy, Competency, Connection and Meaning. When employees rate these five factors of the work environment better, the survey shows that they have significantly increased their levels of effort and loyalty.
Promoting autonomy and promoting the capacity of each individual but always ensuring connection and cooperation within the group, in recent years, Vinamilk has actively built a corporate culture based on 6 principles: Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence, Cooperation, Creativity and Result Orientation. The spirit of innovation is also considered by Vinamilk as an important factor, reflected in the themes of recent years such as "Courage to change", "Change for growth". This helps Vinamilk attract and retain employees with a flexible working environment, ready to change, encouraging innovation to keep up with new trends and thereby creating growth as well as sustainable development for the company.
In addition, the factor of "Health and Spirit" for employees has always been maintained and improved by Vinamilk over the years. Vinamilk's Human Resources Executive Director, Ms. Bui Thi Huong, shared: "The company's Board of Directors always identifies human resources as the decisive factor for all success. Therefore, Vinamilk's current action plan and important human resources strategy is to train and develop a team of successors with enough passion and capacity, ready for the company's future growth, aiming for the goal of being in the Top 30 largest dairy companies in the world."

Currently, Vinamilk has more than 10,000 employees working in 30 units including branches, farms, factories, and subsidiaries nationwide. Of which, nearly 70% of Vinamilk's employees have worked for the company for more than 5 years. In the past 2 years, Vinamilk has organized many talent training programs with more than 100 employees participating, of which, up to now, 30% of the employees have been promoted to become managers of the company. In addition, the company has also implemented a Succession Planning program for key senior and middle-level positions to prepare for future development.
