People's Artist Luong Thuy Linh's full name is Luong Thi Thuy Linh, born in 1983 in Thai Binh. Although no one in her family is an artist, she grew up in an environment imbued with the beauty of Cheo in her hometown of Thai Binh.

With the support of her family, People's Artist Thuy Linh's path to art was relatively smooth and lucky.

Few people know that Thuy Linh grew up in a poor family, without the material conditions of her peers. However, her passion for rowing was ignited in her since her childhood.

From the time she passionately watched the Cheo stage on the small screen, little Thuy Linh began to imitate folk tunes, practice singing and gradually develop a deep love for this art. Since the age of 16, People's Artist Thuy Linh began studying Cheo professionally. In 2002, she continued studying at the Military University of Culture and Arts, then joined the Military Cheo Theater to work and has been attached to it until today.

Years of tireless efforts have helped her take on many important roles and consecutively win 7 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals at national festivals. She was awarded the title of People's Artist in 2024 at the age of 41.

Currently, People's Artist Thuy Linh holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and is Deputy Head of Performance Group 1 under the leadership of People's Artist Tu Long - Director of the Army Cheo Theater.
