Driving a motorcycle without a license, causing a fatal accident
Despite not having a driver's license, Hieu drove a motorbike and illegally overtook, resulting in a collision with a motorbike driven by Ms. Tran Thi M. in front of him in the same direction. As a result, Ms. M suffered a head injury, was treated at the hospital, and died a few days later.

According to the Investigation Agency, although he did not have a motorcycle license, at around 11:00 a.m. on June 11, Hieu drove a motorcycle on Dao Duy Tu Street in the direction from Dong Ba Bridge to Mai Thuc Loan Street (Hue City).
When arriving in front of house number 13 Dao Duy Tu street, Hieu overtook the car in an illegal manner, causing a collision with a motorbike driven by Ms. Tran Thi M. (born in 1956, residing in Phu Hau ward, Hue city) in the same direction, causing a traffic accident.
As a result, Mrs. M suffered a head injury, was treated at the hospital and died a few days later. The two motorbikes were severely damaged, but Hieu was not injured.
At point a, clause 2, Article 260 of the 2015 Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2017, it is stipulated that the crime of violating regulations on road traffic participation and the act of driving without a license causing a fatal accident will be punished with imprisonment from 3 to 10 years.
