(Baonghean.vn) - Tan Cang 63 ship is equipped with remote-controlled micro-diving equipment, capable of diving hundreds of meters deep, and was mobilized to participate in the search for 9 missing fishermen near Bach Long Vi.

As of today (July 7), it has been exactly 10 days since the 9 Nghe An crew members who went missing after a cargo ship collided with fishing boat NA 95899 in the area near Bach Long Vi Island have not been found.

Previously, on the night of July 4, after storm No. 2 passed, authorities mobilized 5 ships to the scene to search and rescue 9 missing fishermen. By the afternoon of July 6, 2 more ships brought divers to the sunken ship's location and dived twice to survey.

Although the forces are being deployed urgently, divers are still unable to reach the location of the shipwreck, due to the strong currents under the sea, not enough to ensure safety. The commander at the scene has stopped diving to implement another plan.

At the request of the Ministry of Transport, the Department of Search and Rescue (Ministry of National Defense) sent a document requesting the Ministry of National Defense to dispatch the Tan Cang 63 ship from Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the search.

It is known that the Tan Cang 63 ship is fully equipped with remote-controlled micro-diving equipment, capable of diving hundreds of meters deep, and will be used to survey and record images of the seabed where the fishing boat is sinking.
